| Well, I know this post is LONG overdue again, but I wanted to update on what has been happening over the last month! Lots of hanging out with friends, encouraging, equipping, sharing, and goodbyes! here are some pics with more specifics!
We had dinner and said goodbye to our very first tutor Lily. Lots of good conversations with her. Remember her as she is seeking for truth!
Mid-Autumn Day Festival means mooncakes- little cakes filled with all sorts of varieties of things-meat, egg, fruit, nuts, combos. my favorite are the fruit ones. We had some friends over after studying to look at the moon Dad created, eat some moon cakes, and Ashley even made frappacinos for us!!!

This month has involved A LOT of packing! Since Ashley is moving to a new city and I am returning home, we are having to pack up all our things in allotted amounts of suitcases. Living here for two years you can accumulate a lot of things, and wear out/use up a lot of things you brought with you to begin with! Thankfully, we have had friends to pass things down to! Here is a picture of our almost packed suitcases and me taking a break!!!

Goodbyes in coffee shops! We said goodbyes to our sister Jane and Sally! Remember them as they are studying, soon graduating, and finding jobs! Ask that they will find people to continue to study with when they move!

Lisa and Sally came over to cook dinner for us one night and we said goodbye to them as well! Such hard work and preparation they spent, but wow was it GOOD! I will miss that for sure! Remember them as they are finishing grad school trying to find jobs in CQ, and seeking truth as well!

Our classmates and teachers gave us a party to celebrate our "graduation" from chinese language study! They have been such an encouragement and help over the past two years. Gifts were given, tons of pictures were taken, and blessings were said as we prepare to leave. My favorite gift was one from my teacher that is a stamp with mine and Ryan's chinese name. This is a very traditional wedding gift that the newlyweds use to stamp their wedding invitations as well as thank you cards and such, so be on the lookout. My favorite picture is the group photo with classmates and teachers, one because we are all in this together, for language learning is definitely a team effort, and two because they had put up balloons in the shape of Ashley and I's chinese names! How cute! My favorite "blessing" was "zao sheng gui zi" which means wish you to have a baby early! If you can only imagine how many times I HAVE and WILL hear this over the next two months:) Ask that seeds we have shared with them will be remembered and grow!

We were able to catch up with some sisters who are on Val's Campus and eat some of our favorite Chinese dishes!
And lastly, a Goodbye party with some of our closest friends! Continue to remember the students on our campus as they study! Anna, Tony, June, Lilian, Shirley, and YY.

| So it was time for another Girl's Night Out!! It was my turn to plan and I found out National Treasure 2 was out in theaters here. So, I had a friend help me find out what time the movie started. So we headed over around 5 to eat at Mc Donalds and then watch the movie at 7.
When we got to the theater, we found out that the only time it was playing in English was at 9pm. So, we had two hours to kill. We went to go get a Jack hut, a delicious milk tea drink that the girls and I have grown to love, then went shopping. I found some earrings. After about 30 minutes, we were tired of walking around and decided to get our hair washed. We decided to take some model shots afterwards!
When we finished, it was time to go get the tickets! We headed over to the theater and told the guy we wanted the English movie. So, we bought a big bucket of popcorn, and even had peanut butter m and ms to put in as well as cherry coke and DP from America!! As you can see, we were really excited about the popcorn!!
Well, we arrived about 20 minutes before the movie started, and apparently in Asian countries, you aren't allowed to enter the room til about 5 minutes before the movie starts, so we decided to play a game. The first person had to go out and take a picture of something. The next person was to go and find where the picture was taken and then take a picture with it, and then take another picture for the next person. So, Val was first...........and she took a picture of a kid playing arcade games......and guess who was next, that right, ME!! But, as you can see, I found the kid, and not only that, I convinced his mom to not only let another foreigner take a picture OF him, but WITH him!!! Fun times!!
Finally, we were able to go in! So we get settled, I pour in the m and ms, to our second bucket of popcorn! yes second! Ash even asked if the second bucket was free, but I am pretty sure no one has EVER gone back for a second bucket and the guy was definitely confused, so we paid for the second bucket! I had just gotten my DP popped open, and the movie starts rolling.............WRONG movie!! BLESS!!! So we pack up all our stuff, and go out to the desk. And thankfully, after a LOT of explanation, we actually get a refund. So, we switch to plan C now, after being delayed, and go to try to find the movie on dvd. Mind you, I am still carrying around the huge bucket of popcorn with m and m's and my DP! We find it, go get a taxi, which was another experience all in itself (just ask Ashley who had to tell everyone to get in a line) and then get home, change into our pjs, and finally sit down to watch the movie..........to find out........it's in FRENCH!! BLESS!!!!!! We decided to watch American Idol instead!
